5 Day Intensive Alaska Survival Course for Women

This is an intensive, hands-on survival course for those serious about taking their skills to the next level. This event will be held in the Alaska backcountry accessible only by boat. We will be kayaking or canoeing to the site and then will dive into primitive skills ranging from bow drill fires to hand line fishing, shelter building, predator protection, wild edibles, how to find and prepare food and water, and much, much more. (Please be able to swim and have basic paddling skills.) There are no facilities and we will be in complete wilderness far away from civilization, so participants should expect primitive conditions for learning. Exploring how to be self-sufficient in the wilderness with very little tools will be the focus of the course. Expect at least one solo overnight in a shelter you have made. This course is limited to 3 participants. You should be mentally and physically prepared for all types of weather and demanding conditions while learning.
