Less screens. More fires.

The Magic of Risk-Taking & Campfires

As seen on:

I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown,

for going out, I found, was really going in. -John Muir

It probably wouldn't surprise you to learn that most American's now spend 93% of their time indoors, with 6% of that time spent in cars. This leaves only 1/2 of 1 day per week for getting outside!
And on average, we're staring at screens for 10 hours per day. The crush of technology in our lives is making us unhealthy, unproductive, and unimaginative. It's literally sucking the life out of us.

But there is something we can do about it.

We can turn off our screens, and go outside.

There is now SCIENTIFIC PROOF that time spent in nature is good for us. It's good to smell the earth, get the blood pumping, feel a twinge of adrenaline. It's good to be in the company of wolves, start a fire with just a spark, sit alone in complete silence. When is the last time you've watched the sun go down, or stared into the flames of a campfire? And I believe it's good to take some risks. Step outside of our comfort zones. Test ourselves.

Join me in this place we call outside. It's been there all along, waiting to amaze, thrill, excite and scare you.

You won't believe how great it feels out here! Get outside and get happy.
